What are the different registration options?
There are four (4) types of registration fees. There is member and nonmember pricing available. AAS24 will feature new activities, tracks, and events:

1. Sunday, Monday & Tuesday - Training & Certification Days are on Sunday and Monday. Two full days featuring multiple training and certification courses. Take advantage of this great opportunity and sign up for more than one course as long as they are not offered at the same time. Tuesday is Symposia Day. A full day of symposia that follows 3 topical areas; Technology & Innovation, Crisis Services, and Research & Innovation.

2. Tuesday - Friday - Conference begins with Symposia Day on Tuesday, a full day of symposia that follows 3 topical areas; Technology & Innovation, Crisis Services, and Research & Innovation, and continues through Friday with various workshops, networking, exhibits, Annual Awards celebration, receptions, Thursday evening 80s concert featuring The Spazmatics, and ends on Friday with the Make An Impact Walk and Healing After Suicide Loss Summit (HASLS).

3. Friday is the Make An Impact Walk and Healing After Suicide Loss Summit (HASLS) and included in Conference registration. If you are not attending the Conference, you may also register for the HASLS separately either in person or virtually.

4. World Pass includes all events, meals, networking, and education from Sunday - Friday. A great package deal to take advantage of!


When does registration open?
AAS24 registration will open in early February 2024.

How do I receive member registration pricing?
To receive the member price, registration must occur after signing into the AAS account profile. If you choose to become an AAS Member it can take 24 business hours to approve the membership and must be completed before purchasing an AAS24 registration to ensure you receive the member rate.

Are early bird discounts available?
Yes, if registration is completed by March 1, 2024, 11:59 PM EST.

Check for updates in the schedule to see when check-in/registration will be open and for the location.

 
Is there a preferred accommodation I can book?
Yes, AAS24 will take place at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel. AAS has secured a discounted room block at the hotel. Hotel reservations will open in January 2024. The discounted rate of $154+ is valid until Sunday, April 7, 2024, or until rooms sell out.

Can I get a refund if I am unable to attend?
- Registration cancellation on or before February 26, 2024, is refundable although subject to a $100 administrative fee. 
- Registration cancellation after February 26, 2024, but before March 18, 2024, will receive a refund of 50% of the total registration cost. 
- Registration cancellation on or after March 18, 2024, will not receive a refund. 
- There is no refund for the cancellation of Training & Certification Days as space is reserved for you at the time of booking and classes are first come first serve.
- The refund and cancellation policy will not be waived. 
- Registration fees may be transferred to another registering individual for the 2024 Annual Conference. Transferred fees must be requested at the time of cancellation. Fees may not be transferred after the cancellation has been completed and any refund (if applicable based on the dates indicated above) has been processed. Transfers must also be completed before May 2, 2024, by contacting conference@suicidology.org.
- Refunds will be issued in the same payment method as they were made.


I am unable to pay by credit card. Is there an alternate payment method?
Yes, send an email to conference@suicidology.org to request an alternate payment method. An AAS team member will provide instructions although payment in full is required to attend the conference by April 10th, otherwise, the registration is subject to cancellation which may incur fees associated.

 
I have special accessibility needs/dietary requirements; can you accommodate me?
Yes, during the registration process, we will seek information from you regarding dietary restrictions and accessibility needs.
